Introduction

National Centre for Maritime Policy Research (NCMPR) was established in January 2007 to provide seat of excellence for maritime policy research and serve as Think-Tank for multidisciplinary study and analysis of maritime affairs to provide cardinal guidelines and solutions to the challenges in maritime domain.

This premier centre engages eminent scholars and renowned researchers to probe into maritime policy matters and extract concrete policy pointers for issues in hand. Research activities and interests of NCMPR include Trade and Economics, Marine Environment and Conservation, Maritime Defense and Security and Maritime Laws and Policies amongst many others.
