International Maritime Conferences (IMC’s) are regulerly organized by NCMPR. 1st Conference was held in 2007 from 4-6 March. Speakers were invited from all over the world. Recommendations are disseminated to the concernred authorities for improvement/taking remedial measures.

The first IMC-2007 was organized in Bahria University auditorium in Karachi Campus. The conference was inaugurated by Admiral Muhammad Afzal Tahir NI(M) CNS and the Chief Guest was the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr.Shaukat Aziz. The Chief Guest for the closing session was Dr.Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan the Governor of Sindh.
